Re: freedom25

Fairly certain he started at 100k with no reloads... he took 50 off benyamine, sassi sat and tried to play 3handed, bryce sat out and sassi took like 40 off benyamine, benyamine quit and bryce sat back in to play sassi hu. Looks like he's up somewhere between 200-250 off sassi.

As of right now Sassi $0, The Bryce $434,000. I have him up $332,000 at that table.

Re: freedom25

i heard bryce taught TLK, but then busted him in a 1-week long hu grudge match. the result was TLK taking a "break" from poker.

the bryce is the best hu lhe player in the world. even stox said that. and stox is like super duper balla at limit. i dont understand why degenyamine keeps playing these other games. He s up like 5mil from plo this year and then just dumps it off playing horse, limit and nlhe

i doubt he's the best in the world. at least he definitely doesn't think he's the best in the world.

he said he'd play anyone except Matt, and tonight he also turned down playing DarkNight (i believe that's the right name) saying that he wanted to wait for Sassi.

I realize that he's obviously going to want to wait and play when he has the biggest edge possible. But he's said that a lot of times he just sits around and waits for games, albeit he's doing other things like real estate and whatever. But if he was the best in the world, he would have an edge v. anybody, however big or small it is, playing w/ a .5% edge is going to be more profitable than not playing at all, isn't it?

So basically, I can't see how he could be the best in the world and still refuse to play some people. Again, if he just doesn't want the variance associated with a .5% edge v. a 2% edge, that's completely understandable and doesn't take anything away from how great of a player he really is.

This is true but Bryce also made TLK wear his FTP jersey every day for a year.

This is fiction. I think the closest thing Nick may have said to this was "Bryce is probably one of the best heads-up limit players on the internet."

One thing to remember is that playing extremely tough competition with a very thin edge at bleeder stakes with a non-infinite bankroll is about as fun as trying to drop-kick yourself in the face Note that this isn't meant to imply that I would have an edge on Hoss, just that I wouldn't be interested in playing him or anyone (aside from academic reasons) in the bigger games with a very small edge. I also have a limited appetite for poker, so doing something like playing an extremely tough spot for a few hours each day would somewhat inhibit my ability to take other action.
