Re: 2/4 HU vs 80/60/2.5
I can understand capping the flop and raising the turn. But at some point you have to think theres a possibility he has the goods and slow down.

Re: 2/4 HU vs 80/60/2.5
Do you have any kind of read other than "80/60/2.5"? Like will he go this crazy with a smaller PP?

Re: 2/4 HU vs 80/60/2.5
I don't have a clue about limit. Against this opponent I think you played it all right. Otherwise I would shut down on the turn after his reraise and just call him down after that. Limit players, is that the right play?

It sucks that you posted the result.

It sucks that you posted the result. [/ QUOTE ] Definitely agree. I really wish I could have an unbiased thought on this hand. I'd like to say just call 3bet on turn and call bet on river...but I'm not sure if I'm just being results oriented. |

I might say that this is just a cooler if you didn't post the results. |
Re: 2/4 HU vs 80/60/2.5
I have never played limit at all, but this is just a cooler. Come on?! If he can do expert stuff like that 4c8d hand, wouldn't he go crazy with 77-JJ? And maybe even an ace.

[/ QUOTE ] He's 3betting all pairs pf, right? Hero's hand is pretty apparent, so I'd stop raising after the turn 3bet I guess. |
Re: 2/4 HU vs 80/60/2.5
I apologize for posting the result.. Thanks for all input, FWIW I finished up like $100 against him over 200 hands I was just confused about this hand since this was probably my 3rd time ever playing limit..

Re: 2/4 HU vs 80/60/2.5
you shouldn't have even raised the turn.
somebody putting in 4bb on a bluff when there's still a chance you might not have much is not the same as going 10 bb when your hand is totally face up. There are more combos of quads than combos of PPs that are consistent with pf. this is not a cooler at all. |

vmacosta is quite right

Re: 2/4 HU vs 80/60/2.5
i mis read the hand at first thought it was 66 rag. but i think against a terrible opponent this is fine. its maybe marginal on the river. i mean you have to raise the turn.. i guess you can save a few bets.. but i raise river even. i see saving 2 bets max here but i probably play the same
