Raise PF, bet turn. What else?

I agree with freteloo: the turn check is awful. What if the button checks it through? And what now? Are you going to raise with your doubtful kicker? I would probably call down here. If you're ahead, you might get overcallers. If you're behind, it won't cost you three bets to SD.

And yes, raise PF. You want the ATo and (hopefully) AJo out of there.

It's 6 handed and Hero is opening from MP.

*grunch*

Raise pre-flop. This is a great hand vs. weak players and may get strong players to fold a better hand.

Yea, I actually was not aware it was shorthanded at that point, used to be full ring. I figured I should have bet in that position... darn, need to fix my leaks.

Raise PF.

As played, bet the turn. The blinds don't seem to have much, but may call down. You're now ahead of Button's range as well and he'll call down with that Qx/Kx that he won't bet on the flop as well as other junk.

As played, after 480 hands I would hope that I'd know if he'd bet any Ax on the turn, or if this a stronger ace (or better) than ours, so that I'd know to call down or fold.

You should be counting the # of seats you are away from the button every hand.
