Awesome time to mmake this thread, watching UMD completely fumble an opportunity to take it to the #1 UCLA Bruins. But does anyone have any thoughts/predictions this season?

On this game alone im about to completely lose my mind. How many turnovers and offensive rebounds can we allow? UCLA is playing like complete ass, taking horrible shots, trying to give the game away but you have Osby in there being a [censored] retard (like usual). He's like Ibekwe, minus the talent and athleticism. Vasquez is playing in his typical manner, chucking up complete garbage and turning the ball over. so far this season this team has been so frustrating to watch. Possibly the worst UMD offense i've seen in awhile

Gist is awesome though, and has been funking on people. It's a shame he always gets 2 fouls early in the first half and spends the rest of it watching from the pine.

Dick Vitale is so annoying.

Osby doing what he does best: get posterized.

Pretty pessimistic about our team this year. Gist is definitely sick though he played totally awful today tho.

It continues to astonish me that Maryland hasn't been able to score consistently in the half court since they won the national championship. Their set offense, even when they have better players than they have no, is terrible.

yea, they no longer have anything near the weapons of that championship team which was zomg stacked. As much as a defensive liability and overall bust as he was, at least Mike Jones could be relied upon to create some sort of offensive spark, and kick start the team. This team has nothing like that. I suppose Vasquez is the closest thing, but I think he needs to stop listening to this BS hype about him and stop playing like ass. He's seriously nauseating to watch play. Hayes needs to stop playing like a pus. Everyone keeps saying he has the best stroke on the team yet he has like 3 or 4 FGA a game.

They need to find another option than Osby until he develops some kind of offensive awareness, stops the stupid fouling, learns to BOX OUT HIS MAN...hell just keep him off the floor, he's terrible all around. He's like Ibekwe in that he automatically decides to take the ball to the rack. Doesn't matter if there are 3 men surrounding him (saw plenty of that tonight), come hell or high water Boom is going to put it up! Add on the fact that in reality he's about 6'5, not the 6'8 they list him at and you have a disastrous player.

Milbourne looks to be very solid, which is a pleasant surprise. Every last one of the freshmen look like deer in the headlights...just completely lost out there. Especially Adrian Bowie. This is very frustrating, but we do only have 1 loss and it was to a top 2 team in the country. That's a positive, but Im usually confident in a Gary Williams coached team to have the potential to knock off a powerhouse on any given night, but this team just doesn't have that this year imo
