Hero? raise? flat? If I do raise, and he 3 bets or shoves?

Villain is 42/21/2 over 850 hands or so, I have a note that he led on a QQ6 flop before with air and then gave up. No other reads

call and shove non-spade turn or raise and call shove. I want to get it in because his range includes a lot more hands than sets.

NEVER raise/fold here, that's like burning money because most of his range that you beat/flip are not folding.

raisy daisy. let him figure out what to do with his 57 or 98 etc. has he shown the ability to b3b in the past?

I like a raise to 120. If he 3 bets we should atleast consider folding.

Re: 5/10 small OP vs lead

I make it $135. He shoves relatively fast, 3-4 seconds

Easy fold after he shoves. Raising to $120 looks good here.

What do we put him on after the shove? I don't think hes shoving sets.

Wow. I hate raise/folding a lot. Which is why I usually just call flop I guess.

For those who like the flop call... what is your plan when he lets say bets again on JQK or A turn?! you flatcall again then? or raise and call a push?? because i guess both are not optimal at all...

just raise and get it in. an overpair does so well against his range.

It does? You think he is b3b gutters or top pairs?

I think he is more likely to have us crushed or flipping.

overs/top pair/whatever.

Re: 5/10 small OP vs lead

raise/folding here against this villain is really bad advice.

Re: 5/10 small OP vs lead

meh tbh he's 40/20 and aggressive, getting it in with an overpair can't be bad
