trip report part 1:

Ron Paul was awesome. Shot video of the whole speech. Unsure of quality. Currently delivering a few carloads of food to local children's shelter. After that heading to Ron Paul rally.

How many people? There were concerns he was only going to draw a couple hundred, compared to the 600 that McCain and Romney got.

Approximately 500. Ballroom, banquet luncheon, ~50 tables, 10 seats each, full + some standing + some outside who refused to give $25 to the Spartanburg GOP for snubbing Paul from the main event. Expect turnout to the rally to be even higher.

food delivered. Shelter lady is a retired lawyer from DC who worked on the hill. She is now a Ron Paul supporter.
