Baluga Theorum Adendum
Original Baluga Theorm: A raise on the turn by Villain means that one-pair is no good.
Adendum to Baluga Theorm (according to Baluga): the higher the card on the board is, the less you should be inclined to fold. I.E. A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]A[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] on a K[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] should call more often than on a T[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]7[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] board How does the new board texture change how we play the turn? |
Re: Baluga Theorum Adendum
players overplay bigger pairs like KQ/KJ on 1st board, however less likely to overplay a pair of Ts

Re: Baluga Theorum Adendum
It just doesn't seem to make as much sense to me. Since I'd be more willing to go broke on the latter since it's more drawy and I think Villain would be more willing to bo broke to protect there TPTK type hand from overcards.
Where is my thinking going wrong? |
