Does anyone know if Stars offers warranties on items sold in the FPP store?

Well, I purchased a TV with FPP's and it came with a proof of purchase that can be used to claim the manufacturer's one-year warranty.

i got an ipod nano. it's busted. i'm pretty sure i can't get a replacement. it's been about a year i think.

I have absolutely no idea. You should mail support and ask. They can pass it on to the FPP store.

My iPod Nano came from Futureshop (Canada) and I was sent a letter to use as my proof of purchse for the 1 year warranty.

I just took my wife's crapitosh computer to apple store because it wouldn't start up... They looked up the history of the computer by it's serial number... isn't this what they would do on an ipod as well?

I ordered a dvd player/recorder almost a year ago. It arrived without any papers whatsoever.
Some 2 months ago it broke down and I contacted the stars store. They sent via email a copy of their receipt, I could then contact the retailer and arrange to have the dvd player picked-up from my personal adress. It had to be sent back to France wher it came from and is now being evaluated and hopefully fixed. The whole process before pick-up took like 2 months and they told it would take 1½ to 2 months more before I got my player back.
