10/20 hand, should I jsut buy a skirt?

10 handed 10/20 game, full stacks for everyone involved. I raise K[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]Q[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] UTG, and to my surprise I get 5 cold callers. The players who cold called are a combination of tags and taggy fish. So 6 handed to the flop.

450 dollar pot on flop. Flop comes 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]4[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]. I have no clue what to do, so I check. 2 other guys check, then a tag bets 400 dollars, the 2 guys behind him fold. The 2 players behind me if I call are somewhat taggish. what do I do now?

I think you should cbet this flop. A cbet here looks really strong and the odds of getting exactly one caller (worst case scenario) are slim. Also usually makes hand easier to play.

As the hand played out... kinda crappy spot. But I would call and hope you dont get check raised.

I agree that a c-bet is good in this spot. You will rarely get raised by much less then a set given that you are leading into a field like this. As played, I buy a skirt for myself. You don't want to be sandwiched. And the MP is more likely to get played back at then you if only because his line can be viewed as a steal or a draw or what have you....

As played, definitely fold. Your non-nut draw has so little value oop. You won't be able to build a pot if you hit oop, and you are only getting 2:1 to call + some percentage of the time you get bet out by the large c/r coming from one of the two players left to act... Even if there weren't two players to act it's close.

Ship,

"get it all in, and get the last bet in"

Not always possible when you have 6 way action. You can't be sure you will be the one pushing. Not sure if that is vital to your gamble it up style on this hand.

And don't be embarrassed for me. Check your ego.

And I mean what if he checks and another one of the countless players in the hand shoves before us....
