Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)
I love the $6.50 turbo SnGs on Stars. Hourly rate is crappy and worse than my 50NL, but they're so soft and a nice break from cash games. When I play them in combo with cash, I tend to run 16/14 on the cash tables instead of 18-19/15. Not sure if that's good or not (or if it doesn't matter at all).

Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)
Nevermind. The problem was that I was importing hands from tournaments, but not the tournament summaries themselves. It's amazing what reading an FAQ can do for you.
|
Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)
Wtf is a knockout tournament? I read the FAQ and still don't know. You get .50c bounty for knocking someone out... if you knock out 30 people are you worth $15? Or, wtf. Anyone know what I am talking about?
|
Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)
Essentially, you can win money without cashing in the tourney. So, it might be structured like: $5 Buy-in = $4 to Prize Pool + $1 bounty on your head.
You could knock out 10 people, make $10, but then proceed to get knocked out of the tournament out of the money and still walk away with a $5 profit. Sounds like a cool idea imo. The bounty you collect doesn't subsequently get put onto your head for others to win. I believe once you collect bounty from someone, it's yours to keep. |
Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)
back on October 19 I made some pretty significant changes to my post flop ploy and I finally think that I'm starting to iron it out. still feel I'm a little too aggressive on the flop. Anyways graph of the sessions before and after October 19. Probably a good idea I ran hot during this or I could've been in a lot of danger. hopefully I will finally get it right but I certainly think I'm heading in the right direction as the showdown lines are evening out on the bottom graph.

I would rather have the bad beats then the coolers. at least you know that you played the bad beats right. Every cooler I get into afterwards I feel like I could've got away from it.

MTT's seem to call shoves super light nowadays. Without being laid anywhere close to the right price. I open shoved from button with 88 and BB instacalled with 53s, blind was t240 or something and I pushed for like 4k. LOL. At least it held. Someone else just now instacalled with 83s similar situation, more favorable price but still lol.

Tonight was good overall. I went pretty deep in Midnight Madness but got cold decked halfway through the money QQ < KK. It'd be nice to suckout or have the best of it and hold then move into the chiplead late. Happen sooner or later I guess. But, damn. 62nd out of like 1450 iirc.
Then I played PLO8 for no reason and stacked 4 people in one hand on a table, two people in one hand on another. Gotta love how people stack off with no chance of winning the high pot, some drawing dead to both. So somehow I made like $90 there. And I really don't know how to play well. Now I got my $$ back on Full Tilt! |
