Also, karaoke boxes - these clubs let you rent a room with your own karaoke machine. There's a bell so you can order drinks and snacks, then wail away to your heart's content with no one but your friends hearing you.

Havn't read the whole thread but I think those who like the big and loud atmosphere versus those who don't like it(while playing poker I"m talking about) really shows the age difference amonst posters. For example, most older players hate MGM's atmosphere while younger guys love it.
