If you can win at Limit at 2-3 PTBB/100 you should be able to win 8-10 PTBB/100 at NL.

Depends on what stakes you played at in Limit. .5/1 limit is not comparable to .50/1 NL.

The biggest difference between limit and no limit are the swings. Your average will not be as uniform as you're used to, but the good players will make more in the long run playing no limit rather than limit.

at $.50/1 nl a "good" ptbb/100 is probably around 6+, the best players at that level can probably beat it for ~10+. though conditions change what ptbb/100 you should be striving for...like # of tables, 6m vs FR, etc.

i think anything over 5ptbb is pretty solid for midstakes.. lowstakes youre probably going to aim a bit higher

How many tables are we talking about when saying 6+ptbb?

Can't really compare 1 tabling with 8 tabling.

I can see 6BB/100 on one table. Hell - I know one guy with 1000 hours of play at 19BB/100 on two tables. Still short run but 6BB/100 for a good player is not out of the question.

Even in Limit I think when people say 2BB/100 is expert play I consider THAT is conservative.
