Excel Sheets

Hi,

I was wondering if you all can post a screenshot of your excel sheets, I made this one recently, but I need some ideas on what else I should keep track of.

Tourney Manager!

I bought it last week and I love it.

Not to pimp a product, but there's really no product alternative in terms of spread sheets.

I will say this, however, I wish TM added the level by level stats like PT does. I find those useful over large samples for parts of my game I haven't retooled/improved very much.

And agreed with Ryan.

@Nichomacheo & @ChicagoRy & other TM users:

Am I right in thinking that TM is basically MxGucci's Excel sheet with slightly better filters and importing capability?

Re: Excel Sheets

TM has all the graphical/statistical information I could ever want except for what I mentioned above. It has a lot more than what Mx posted and lets you import games without wasting any of your time, but for a player that doesn't care much for stats and such (there are a lot of people that fit this bill) it may not be worthwhile.

I happen to enjoy stats, so I find it worthwhile to have something like Mx's excel file, PT or TM, I just find that TM gives me the most for no effort. I haven't updated PT in like 600 games, but the level by level stats are eventually going to force me to take a half hour and update everything.

Basically, if you want any of these 3 things but don't want to take the time to work for them, buy TM, otherwise excel sheet and PT are probably the best way to go (if you don't mind working for the stuff).

And for the people that don't care (which is fine) just use sharkscope to check up on your stats.

I use PT. I also have a low tolerance to playing, so I play 3 or 4 tourneys and then import my stats. On FT, everything is imported, all I have to do is click 1,2,win. It is fast. On Stars, I have to import the stakes, buy in, table type, tourney type and quantity of players. If you can use the tab key, it only takes 10 seconds to import everything.
