1/2 - Optimal play with pretty big draw?

No reads

5-handed

stacks: $200

UTG raise $7, CO calls, I call in bb with T[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

Flop: J[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 7[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 2[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img]

check, UTG bets $16, CO calls, Hero? call or raise?

If i raise what do I do on a blank turn?
What if the turn is A/K/Q or a T or a 9

Should I lead flop?

I dont like to check raise oop, so I would just check/call.

If you make your flush I would bet $27, and I would check if I higt my 8.

you should be looking to get it in on the flop.

check-raising is ok here because it gets some dead money in from CO, but the problem with it is that it leaves villain with the decision of whether to put you all in, also if he just calls youre going to be shoving the turn with less equity than you have now.

i think a better way to manage your fold equity is to lead out on the flop, this way he will raise with a wider range than he would call/raise your c/r with (you are about 50% vs his rasing range). then you can come over the top all in, giving you enough fold equity to make this +EV.

edit: also, i dont think you should be calling an UTG raise oop with suited connectors unless you know he is a huge fish.

when do you like to check-raise? you can only check-raise when you are oop.

I raise flop to $55-$60 looking to get it in on this flop. Blank turns I usually push against one opponent and check behind if both come along.
