This is one of those ''why didn't I think of that'' products. Whenever I am watching TV alone, I had to get up and adjust my plasma for a more direct angle, when my kids and wife were also in the room, we had to adjust yet again, and also when the glare from the sun hit the screen, one more adjustment. Now, with just a touch of a button on a remote I can accomplish the same thing. It is really not that much more expensive than a standard mount and well worth the hassle it has saved me. If you want to buy a expensive car, why would you equip it with vinyl and an eight track radio? Same goes with an HDTV and your choice of mounts.

don't buy it cause you could just employ poor people to hold your tv up for you.... and i'm pretty sure that stand doesn't respond to voice commands
