7 card stud games
 
How can 8 people sit at a table, with 7 cards each.

Thats 56 cards, and obv. not everyone stays in. But what if they did?

If there are not enough cards left to give each player his 7th card, one card is dealt face up in the middle of the table and is a community card.

I had the same question and asked it during a game of HORSE. I got the same reponse, that is the 7th card would be a community card.

This is basically a theoretical question because it virtually never would happen, but the answers given are correct.

TY all for your help. Never new that, I basically thought in a real tournament or real money game it would never happen. But I knew there had to be a rule some where.

What in the world were you staying in with? It was a $521 pot, so it's not like it didn't get bet.
