1/2NL live -- calling in position requirements

This may be too general, but I'll give it a try:

If you are on the button and at least six people are in for $12, do you call with ATC? ATC suited? A plus any card? What are your requirements?

(Assume most players have at least 100bb and they are a typical 1/2NL players. More bad / calling stations than good.)

Hmm, any pair (except high pairs, raise obv).
Any ace (raise bigger ones obv).
Any two broadway.
Any two suited.
Anything remotely connected, down to 54 offsuit.

Basically I'd play anything but the worst hands here: 73o, J5o, Q2o, etc...

Online you can actually raise atc here, if you do it occasionally, but live limping is usually better unless you're raising for value, since you'll usually get at least one caller, and often many.

With a strong hand, its time for a very large reraise. Other than that, SABR42 has it just about right, I think.

Thanks, you guys. My bf was correct. Darn it

I missed a limp w/ T4s, which hit a full house with bettors.

Of course, I had lost doing the same thing earlier with T4s when I hit two pair on a Tc8d4d board followed by rags and lost my stack to T8o. Should have figured it out, but she was a calling station and would have called me down with any T and would have called my flop re-raise with diamonds.

She had just called the person who bet the flop in front of her. I knew he was on a draw.

Losing a full house what I get for chickening out and being results-oriented.

Don't be results oriented, obv any pair but if the table conditions are right it is ok to call OTB with 65o or J6s.
