What\'s with OnGame\'s new structure?

So, I'm about 500 points into a $100 for 1000 points thing at PokerRoom. Then they change something, and now it would appear that you need a $1 rake to get 1 point and 0.50 point for less than $1 rake but more than $0.50 rake. If i've understood this correctly, it sucks.

Rake at $0.50/$1.00 tables is either $0.05, $0.20 or $0.50. None of this is more than $0.50 so you cannot get any points at these tables.

Rake at $1.00/$2.00 tables is either $0.10, $0.40 or $1.00. Only the full rake ensures one point but half a point is not possible.

Has anybody understood their new structure differently? Support is silent so far.

Cheers,

Smurf

Re: What\'s with OnGame\'s new structure?

As the original thread states, their web site has been updated with the new points structure.

However:
1. No other Ongame skin has made the change from what I can tell.

2. My player points are still going up in factional amounts, which would be impossible under the new structure.

3. Support still say the 0.07 point per 10c rules applies

So either:

1. The new structure isn't applied yet, but will be soon

2. Or it is an error on the web site. Remember that the point structure was like this years ago, until they changed it to the 0.07 point one.

Needless to say, I'm trying to get my bonus done ASAP because I play 25NL, which would be a problem under the new structure.

Last night I played 150 hands at 25NL and got no points.

Hmmmm...maybe it has kicked in now?

Anyone else notice anything?

Alright, maybe the player points are just broken today. They break quite often.

But you certainly should be getting points at 100NL.

What skin are you playing on?

PokerRoom's web site is really really broken at the moment, but I find that the points come back after a day or so. Haven't lost any yet.

u sure about it? I played at many ongame skins and everything was alright, today I started at pokerroom.com and I read this post and started to worry about my PP and my bonus.

Re: What\'s with OnGame\'s new structure?

I'm not sure about anything at PokerRoom at the moment.

Their web site has been up and down for the last 7 days - sometimes for an entire day. Cashouts have been broken for at least 3 of those days.

Their new web site has new statements about rake and player points and may or may not be in effect - no confirmation of any of this.

Their support takes 3 days to answer questions via email and I cannot contact them via phone.

All I know is that at 100NL you should easily be hitting the $1 rake under either structure and that should mean you are getting player points.

So maybe their web site is just broken again. Might wait another 10 hours or so and see how it is all going then.

All other Ongame skins look fine.
