is checking flop an option to see how he reacts to a heart or non heart turn. if i have KK or AA here and not a heart i will often check the flop to shove non heart turn to better protect my hand in situations where the chips in the pot are substantial. if he then checks a heart or value bets heart you could save your remaining chips. also what stakes buy in or history on SB could help narrow what the SB considers a min reraisable hand here.
