NL noob seeking advise on correct bet sizes pf & flop

CO is very loose (66.7/21.3/1.11 over 75 hands). Also is trying to be the table captian. I've noted s/he plays any two sooted, and will always call a reraise after commiting money on a given round. My main question is about the size of the flop bet, or if I should check. Also, I'm unsure about how much to 3bet here pf.

*grunch*
bets 90 cents (2/3 of the pot) would be standard here? Giving gut shots and anything else poor odds to draw.

Hi Jaran you are here too huh? I have no clue (trying to learn myself ) but I'm guessing a pot size bet is good here. I'll look forward to reading others comments.

Yup. I'm here. Thought I'd give it a shot, but I'm still really confussled about bet sizes. Hopefully someone with more experience can post some really goot stuff.

The best draw he can have is QT/9T and both of those are unlikely.

You are hoping he's got a king or a jack here and doesn't believe your 3b.

I'd probably bet $1.1, the pot is already quite big and that flop hits a lot of his range so if he's calling 90c he'll call $1.1. If called that gives a $3.7 pot and $3.6 effective stack so you can push the turn.

I think your pf raise size is fine.

Because villain has the position on you I would compensate a bit and raise closer to PSR ie ~80c, followed with 2/3P bet.

Jaran,

Sup. So you've come over to the dark side as well. Been a while. Does villian like to bet if checked to on the flop?

ads.

I prefer a plan to get the money in by two near-potsized chunks on the flop and turn. So like, $1.25 and $3. Alternate line is to make villain call you down light with smaller bets, like $0.75, $1.75, $2.25 but that gives better implied odds to straight draws.

Villain folding is no big deal either; keep betting with 1 pair.

Preflop standard rr is 3xoriginal raise. If you know this villain will call loosely in this situation then raise more, not less. $.95 maybe.

Sup ads? Long time. Still in Italy?

Villian is pretty aggro post flop, but will check behind w/air. Also (prolly should have mentioned this in the original post), I have taken a few iso raised pots off him with a 2/3 cbet. Basically, this player will bet aggro w/any piece/pp in this situation, but will check behind with a hand like Axs that missed.

Jaran,

Yeah, still in Italy. You still working in the bookshop?

If Villian would call a bet with something like Axs hoping to catch on the turn then I'd bet around a buck here. If he's liable to fold those to a flop bet then I'd go for a check raise.
