Stephon Marbury Inteview....

Been away from the forums for a few days, so forgive me if this has been posted, but I did a search for both "Steph" and "Marb" and didn't get any results...

9 minutes long, but its worth it.

"I think I'm gonna average like 10 pts, 12 or 13 dimes, and 2 or 3 assists...plus 4 or 5 rebounds"

"Thats my better half, my better ho, oh my better half.. my wife!"

My sister's been praying for me since I was born, my sister Stephanie, my name sake. Thats what she is to me, my namesake, Stephanie. Stephon. Stephanie. Thats my daughters name, we kept it in the family. She's been praying for this day forever and it finally happened yesterday when I kissed her, and I felt her body and I felt her soul. I was delighted to be kissing her, I couldnt even cry because I knew they were going to be happy tears so I was able to control them, you only really cry when you really bad stuff."

We play basketball, we wear tennis shoes"

"i want to see the spit on your mouth"

The last 55 seconds though make all that look normal by comparison though. Seriously, wtf?

I felt a lot of emotions during that interview... I went from entertained to confused to concerned to uncomfortable to horrified. Thanks Steph!

Any reason why you simply quoted it?

This is the life of a Knicks fan. Your team actually makes a good trade, you're optimistic for like a week, then you realize your pointguard is batshit insane.

Watching it again now and noticing even more stuff....

Randolph apparently has the ability to bring the ball up the court, which I'd love to see

If the Knicks need Marbury to play another position, then he will get more rebounds

"I think that I grew up under Isaiah. I think he raised me and he grew me into becoming the basketball player and the person I am off the court."

Responding to the question about whether or not its easier to respect Coach Thomas due to the fact that he used to play: "I respect him for him, not because of basketball. Thats separate. I know how to differentiate. I know how to basically break the two down. Thats why I'm doing what I'm doing with my sneakers for the kids."

"If anybody had the opportunity to put down all the money in the world to bet on Dallas to win the championship...I think people would've done that."

Talking about the trophy and "shiny stuff."

"We didn't go home and sleep in the same bed."

And the look on his face before he starts dancing....I've watched it like 10 times in a row and I can't stop cracking up.
