$100NL AA Standard Overpair Situation Checkup

I've been at the table for 2 or 3 rounds. Villain seems moderately aggressive and has won some small pots, but I haven't seen him play any big pots or anything that went to a showdown and I haven't been involved in any hands with him.

Stack sizes:
UTG: $296.20
UTG+1: $131.15
Hero: $110.70
Button: $129.90
SB: $61.10
BB: $45.40

Pre-flop: (6 players) Hero is CO with A[img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] A[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]
UTG folds, UTG+1 raises to $3, Hero raises to $10, 3 folds, UTG+1 calls.

Flop: 4[img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img] 5[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] 9[img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] ($21.5, 2 players)
UTG+1 checks, Hero bets $20, UTG+1 raises to $43, Hero

You are behind sets and a possible 54s but ahead of TT-KK and a bunch of draws I think it is time to push and get payed off (or rivered, it's not my fault if you get rivered).

i usually call here and get it in on the turn. pushing is fine. folding is bad.

I think you have to push here because of the preflop action. Your ahead more than your behind with this flop. I don't see trips here that often because the board has such low cards, maybe a set of 9's but not as often as 10,10-k,k

I like to call and get it in on the turn. overpairs might get scared by a flop push, so call, and let him bet the turn.

Anyone pop him back before the flop? Considering he only raised 6 here he is most likely a donk and thats usually not enough to make me flat call here (unless hes a short stack).

Especially with 130+BB stacks, flat calling here gets me into a lot of trouble. A lot of players say that if you re-raise him back you allow him to play perfectly but most 100nl players are not that good and have a very hard time finding the fold button.

ALL IN. Really, he's got like TT-KK here a lot.

i kinda agree, opening up betting and showing some interest in the hand will allow for him to push if he relaly has a monster, i doubt he will be pushing a big semibluff. but he could be..

seriously lately. everytime i run int o monster ive been flop minraised its so bad..

I like shoving. A lot of scary cards can hit on the turn (both for you and him).
