Worth playing/staying at Bodog?
Hey. I've still got some money at Bodog (for their sportsbook, but I'm done betting sports) and need to decide whether to make my final cashout from them. (Right now I play mostly at PStars with a little money parked at Absolute. Mostly 100NL (SH) right now, no tournaments.)
I've played Bodog poker once or twice on the suggestions of friends, who called it one of the softest sites on the net right now. I found the UI to be difficult/annoying, and not having PAHUD doesn't help. That said, is it worth keeping some money there? Do the softness of games (or settings you can find to make it more ascetically appealing) make it worth keeping my last few grand there and to play poker there more regularly? Thanks for the advice. Don't want to make a hasty withdrawal now and now be able to get money on there later. |

This is really for you to decide. Nobody knows your skill level or what games/limits you play. Nobody knows how much you rely on PT and a HUD. How we can determine what will be most profitable for you?

Been playing there for last 6 months. There customer service would be reason enough for me to stay.

Re: Worth playing/staying at Bodog?
I'm just saying some insight into the beatability of the games would be nice. I play mostly 100NL and have been beating it for about 5PTBB/100. I rely pretty heavily on PAHUD but if the games are good enough I can learn to live without it.
Just trying to get a read, as deciding myself could take thousands of hands. |

Many people on this site are leery of assessing one player in a few hundred hands, but I'm supposed to generalize for a whole site? |
Re: Worth playing/staying at Bodog?
Bodog has horrible software horrible cash out options and horrible game selection. Reason enough not to play there IMHO.

Re: Worth playing/staying at Bodog?
Their customer support is insanely terrible and if you bring up problems with their software they say their are no problems and we stand by our software 100%.

Re: Worth playing/staying at Bodog?
If you don't want to withdrawl b/c you think it might be hard to get money on later - it probably isn't going to be a good site to play on if that happened.

Re: Worth playing/staying at Bodog?
Bodog is still as juicy as ever!! Anybody who thinks different is a hudbot who doesn't know poker. Deposit is the only downfall, which could hurt it in the long run
