AP 5/10 blind battle

Villian was new to table and I had not previously played against him. Is my play standard here? Would the absense of a gutshot change the way the hand gets played?

I play it the same.

The gut shot helps a lot, as does the fact you're drawing to the wheel with the 5 and not a 4 or 3.

If the Gs wasnt there what would the board be?

Not sure I like the turn bet. I think you get raised always and I doubt you can profitably call down.

if you cant call down if you get raised, then can you call down if you check and he bets?

Standard flop peel for most villians range, why check and give him the lead when he plans on folding now that he stills has nothing? looks like a Q4, K3 kind of hand once he calls though.

I c/c the turn to induce bluffs and call most rivers. Good spot to semibluff for our villain.

I could be in the minority here but I usually check call the turn and re-evaluate on the river.... sometimes calling sometimes mucking. Is this terrible play?

Pots small, so c/c cant be a huge mistake, but I dont like the of giving a hand like Q7s a free shot at a pair or spade draw.

I'm going to say I would bet the turn and call a raise here. Whether I call a river bet depends on the card and if I compulsively hit call for the hell of it.
