There nothing wrong with a c/c here since he probably floats a lot of the time. I dont like a checkraise since your hand has SD value already

I cant see much you are gonna get value from on the turn other then a FD here so betting aint too hot

Probably c/c this and see the river

lets put villain on a hand. pf definitely screams pocket pair, probably a mid pocket pair based upon his flop call. I don't see anything wrong with betting here. Villain is probably looking for a cheap showdown here and I see no reason to let him have it.

I think some SCs (hearts) are in his range here (alonge-side pps) so I c/c cos he's folding to most bets on the turn unless he has us beat with a better Q.

Villain's aggression is an important factor here.
If you're pretty sure villain will often bet this turn when checked to I don't mind a c/c. It enables to draw cheaply when behind to a set (getting raised on the turn would really suck here) and get value from a float.
If I had a read that villain was passive and called too much I would bet here. Especially if my image was not very good.

That is strange logic. If you think he might have the heart draw I don't see why you want to c/c the turn. I also think he has a pp here like 95% of the time.

Hero c/c $20.

River 4[img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img].

Hero checks, villain bets $45, Hero ..?

We have fairly good odds. (1 to 1.8 so we need to be good 35% of the time). His bet looks a lot like a value bet and I guess he would check behind a lot of the time with a smaller PP or a weaker Q that have some showdown value.

I fold this but I am not too happy about it.
Thoughts?
