Would you post the BB or post BB + SB dead behind?
 

Ok, I know this is a nit question but I’m still curious on your opinion and views. So at a local casino if you want are a new player and you are in the big blind position you can either post the big blind or get a missed blind button. So you can either post the big blind or you can post the big blind + small blind dead behind the button. It is a 1/3 blind game so you will have to post $4 behind the button if you want to post behind the button.

It pretty much seems to me that if you have the option it is always better to post behind even for the extra dead money. The big blind and small blind seems like lost money since the hands will have almost no expected value since you are out position.

Am I right or am I nuts? What would you do?

What if it is a 3/5 game? Do you take the big blind or do you post $8 behind?

dont you get an extra 2 hands from the same $4 if you post BB, if you assume playing from the blinds is +EV given you have already posted?

in live poker dont let teh entire table know youre a complete nit before you even play a hand. just post when you sit

Ok, but assuming that the that you could sit down right at the molment, or you could sit down a hand later.
