thanks to some major luck England needs only a tie to qualify against Croatia who is already in and does not appear to be too interested in being a spoiler. I dont think that England would let this game hang around 1-1 in the latter stages. they are down two top scorers but they are at home and will control the match throughout. great bargain on the win at -185 on Bodog

I don't like it. I can't see Croatia causing an upset at Wembley but a draw suits them both just dandy.

England are missing a large number of key players, have had a hugely emotional few weeks, an uninspiring manager and a frustrated public. They are disorganised at the best of times, and with such vast personnel changes likely to be even more so. Additionally, the Croats are certainly no mugs. At 1-1 England don't go for the kill, they set up shop and play on the counterattack, at least under McClaren.

This wouldn't be the first time in football history that when a draw suits both, a draw ensues. Take England pk if you need the action, but -185 on a 3-way is terrible. The gamble hungry English public are backing their own side, especially after the money they probably won at the RWC.

a draw doesnt suit croatia at all they dont need to take anything but health from this game. for england even a halftime tie would stir up a panic at wembley, but a 70+ minute tie is unexceptable. this game will be played at 59-41% possession with rarely a sniff on goal for the croats. england will enjoy 5+ quality chances and will net two. 2-0

Hmm I'm sure England will want to finish top of the group which they can achieve by winning by 2 goals so their is something to play for. I'm sure they will want good seeding for the World Cup qualifying draw which is on next week.

England have been impressive so far at the New Wembley & they should win easily imo. But if the game stays at 0-0 until the hour mark I think their major concern will not be conceding a goal and be affectively knocked out so you never know what will happen but I think they should have enough to beat the Croatians at home in front of 90,000 fans fairly comfortably.

lol Serbia are at home to Poland and Poland are top of the group with Serbia in 4th and somehow poland are @ 9/2!!

Serbia obviously aren't easy to beat at home but Poland should not be 9/2 in a 2 horse race when they are top of the group, my bet of the day anyways 9/2 is amazing me, maybe they know something i don't.
