Are we REALLY willing to gamble to win?

Hypothetical scenario that I think comes up often enough that I should have an answer for it (my typical answer is to shove but I'm an idiot):

It's getting late in the tourney and you are a slightly below average stack (~5k) sitting on the button with AJs. The BB is 400 with an ante of 50.

Assume that the chip leaders in the tourney have just over 20k.

UTG+1 raises to 1400. MP player calls. Both players have a stack of 6,500. There is now approximately 4k in the pot. Shove?

What if I tell you that UTG+1 is going to call you with QQ and MP is going to fold?

Same question as the above but your stack is 4k instead of 5k?

If youre playing 9 handed, its a fold.

I'm not certain how 6 v. 9-handed matters if I tell you that you're getting looked up by QQ?

AJs is not strong enough to shove.

I'm obviously trying to determine what odds we want to have before we're willing to gamble as a known dog.

I.e. If our stack was 5k and we were afforded the opportunity to shove with AJ v. QQ for 13k, would we not do it?

You know you are a 2.2-1 dog, why would you stack off getting 1.5-1?

I honestly didn't think that was worth considering, I mean obv fold if we know the guy has QQ
