I serious think it makes sense to have a "Sites" forum and within it have Stars, FT, Party, and maybe Other. Those threads are just beasts and very tough to read.

He seems to run sick hot and tough to play against but have seen him do some pretty wierd things, like calling big reraises with J7 and 100 bb stacks.

Re: Official Party Regulars Thread

This is an email i sent partypoker:
These two handhistories from the same table from the same person shows
how a player is misusing Disconnect protect. As anyone can see, he is
disconnecting since he would never dream of calling in that spot - thus
illegally taking my money. Doing it twice leaves nobody in any sort of
doubt that this is intentionally.

This is real money he is robbing from me, and therefore i expect legal
action to be taken against him, since this is clearly a police matter.

Also I expect as a high volume player to have swift and accurate
compensation from the player in question.

Needless to say they sent me a standard reply telling me how they can never be entirely sure if someone is disconnecting, and basically telling me how they would rather risk the small chance of losing me compared to going through the hassle and the loss of money by freezing the player in questions money

Re: Official Party Regulars Thread

Well deliberate cheat in any game involving money is a police matter, and so I stand behind what I wrote. I do know that party doesnt look at it that way, since they are too afraid of losing a player and just basically very incompetent at most things they do.

Sounding like a douchebag or not, I had to try something different than the usual polite email, since I have never gotten anything other than a standard reply saying they will do nothing (including removing dp)

You are an angry person. You should probably not play on dp-tables.

All of you have been wanting them to overhaul the software to fix the 'ratholing' problem. This is what happens. I hope more regs leave party anyway.

It's not illegal. Maybe unethical, but no more unethical than fleecing a weak player.

they will never do more than remove the guys DP. instead of writing all that bollocks, just write 'dp abuse' they will understand and youll get the same result

You must be thinking of somebody elses software. Party has had huge problems with its client since before resizeable tables were available, most notably huge memory leaks.

Re: Official Party Regulars Thread

i have probably sent 50+ emails to party regarding dc protection over the years, got at least 10-15 guys dp removed and a bunch more on watchlist. i dunno why you guys get so emotional about it, obviously you should report them every time it happens but it's pretty standard.

mbyvp 10-01-2007 07:33 AM

Re: Official Party Regulars Thread

ditto to Seabass's comment - just copy HH into and email saying 'here is dp abuse'.

if they have no hisory thne pp become aware of it, if they've doen it a lot b4 then their dp is removed. I report everytime i see it in a hand vs me. takes abotu 2mins, but worth it, not just for the money but to punish the unethical ones doing this. no ponit gettin stressed tho, jsut make sure to report as much as u can.

plus wy wud any1 want o leave party, always great fun, good bunch of guys to play with.

Based on this and the comments in play you make sometimes, it seems like you don't get as annoyed by things as much as "normal" people
