Travel Arrangements for WSOP ME?

I'll be playing for 1st time this year, buying in with Stars' FPPs. I'm flying out of the East Coast (NJ). How long do you guys typically book your return flights for? 7 days? Serious answers would be appreciated.

On the ME Schedule looks like day 1A stars on 7/6/07 and final table is 7/17/07. Does everyone end up booking for the entire thing, or just change flights midway when need be?

Anyone else here going through Stars?

Thanks,
dave b.

it depends why you are going to Vegas. if you dont mind having a vacation out there its fun even if you bust.

i went for a week early in the world series and won a seat for the main event.

so when i came back for it, i really did not want to stay for longer than i needed to. so i just made flight arrangements for the after 2B and figured i would change if necessary.

not really too hard to change your flight. on the other hand if you dont mind staying in vegas for a week(and who really minds that much) than just make the flight for a week.

most players book for a week and if they are still in they made enough money that they dont care about cancelling, busting and not being able to leave can be bothersome so i'd do 1 week and adjust if you stay in longer.

This was pretty much correct in my case, as I survived past my departure date and wasn´t particularly bummed with having to shell out a few hundred bucks for a new flight.

But pretty much everyone feels like crap after they bust -- so it´s kind of hard to enjoy a ¨vacation¨ in the several days after getting knocked out. I´d plan for a shortish stay, and get your fun out of the way before the ME.
