NoIQ points vs VIP loyalty bonus (rakeback)

Okay so NoIQ poker finally got their webshop up and running. Now you can decide for yourself how big a percentage of the rake you generate you want to get paid out as rakeback or as NoIQ points.
However, when I asked their player manager (nice guy btw) how much the NIP's was worth compared to the rakeback he said he wasn't allowed to say?!
So do any of you guys know how much the NIP's are worth compared to the Loyalty bonus (aprox. 40% rakeback) ?

As i understand it the webshop in on top of the Loyalty bonus. You get the bonus as you are accumulating points (about $10 per 1000 FPP). Then you can redeem these same points for cash at a rate of $10 per 10000 FPP or NIP 18 per 10000 FPP. so the price of the items is NIP/1.8 which is not so great on the IPOD NANO I checked. But you get a nice discount on the EPT tickets. For example NIP20252=$11251=€7706 for the €10600 EPT Final Monte Carlo ticket. Good luck getting the 11,251,000 FPP till April.

If you log in on their website, go to Account Reports and then Bonus Settings. Here you should be able to choose how many percentage you want. But yes, you can redeem FPP as well but the rate isn't really good.

If you do some calculations, you will see that FPP for cash is slightly better than NIP in the webshop. You are pretty close with your 40% equivalent RB.

Anyway its not necessary to change the % of loyalty bonus or NIP you want to receive, just leave it at 100% loyalty bonus and when you need something in the shop, just contact the player manager and he will change your FPP for NIP.

This is how I worked this out:

If you buy electronics your 10,000 FPP will be worth aprox. $6 to $8

For the Caribbean EPT 10,000 FPP will be worth $13.48
If you trade it for cash you can get $10

Of course for electronics it looks more "expensive" because they have to pay for shipping costs as well.

And all this is in addition to the loyalty bonus.

Re: NoIQ points vs VIP loyalty bonus (rakeback)

i am not sure if the ratio for the FPPs is in addition to the loyalty bonus.
i have a 45% RB deal. its not the usual VIP bonus deal they offer, since i created my acount a while ago. i went for 100%NIPs 2 days. i received about 640NIPs for raking in about 960$ which would have brought me 430$.
430$ in FPPs would bring you 775NIPs.
this means that the nips are not based on the bonus of each player but of the rake itself, doesnt it ?

I am pretty sure it is the rake that is the base for the NIP's. However, it dosn't seem like it's a very good deal if you choose the NIP's. for 775NIP's you could have got a nintendo wii (754) and it's easy to get one for much less than 430$. I think i just stick to a 100% loyalty bonus until they someday change the value or at least give some information about the system.
