[/ QUOTE ] AK is also not very unlikely. There is one way he can have AA and only two ways he can have AK given the board and your hole cards. There are 8 ways he can have AQ, 8 ways he can have AJ, 6 ways he can have QQ, 6 ways he can have JJ, 6 ways he can have TT. AA/AK are a tiny tiny tiny part of his range. Say he's only 3-betting AK/QQ+ pre-flop. then hands that beat you are only 33% of his range!! In the more like event that he's 3-betting a much wider range you beating more like 75-90% of his range. You want to get as many chips in the middle as possible. |
