BIGGGGG river overbet at $3/$6

Sup guys, this just happened at $3/$6 on ipoker. Defo interested as to what u guys think.
No major reads on villan, he has been quiet though, not in many pots. We havent played a pot until now. I have been playing 21/16 over small sample. Effective stacks are $575:

Hero is UTG, Villan is in the SB:
** HOLE CARDS ***

Dealt to hero[H5 D5]
hero: Raise $21.00
UTG+1: Fold
BTN: Fold
Villan: Call $18.00
BB: Fold
*** FLOP *** [SJ C5 D9]
Villan: Check
Hero: Bet $30.00
Villan: Call $30.00
*** TURN ***
Villan: Check
Hero: Bet $58.00
Villan: Call $58.00
*** RIVER *** [S6]
Villan: Allin $464.35
Hero:
*** SUMMARY ***

Thoughts on heros line before river of course welcome. Hero does what on river? What are you putting villan on as a result of his line too plz. Many thanks, results to follow.

more on flop/turn, fold now cos these huge overbets are usually the nuts

Because of your small turn bet (1/2 psb, right?), he can't expect you have a big hand. And any hands you would call ai with, you would certainly v-bet when checked to.

So his line can only "make sense" as a bluff, and technically you can never fold a set on this board...but obv he'll show you 87s some solid % of the time.

Bottom set from flop is never good in this spot especially vs a guy "who has been quiet". These ridicilous overbets are nuts or close nearly every time.

i'm pretty sure a fold is good. although do moderately fishy TAGs ever do this with like J9s in people's experience?

If i havent seen the guy before i snap call this on ipoker. the way the software is set up they have an allin button right where the raise button is on must sites, so i can see him typing in a number and pressing the wrong button here. the whole hand doesnt make sense from his point of view and from doing this myself i can see how it could happen

I call the first time, his line doesn't make sense for any hand

it makes perfect sense for 87s. or 99 doing the standard fish c/c c/c shove river with the near nuts, which i see a lot. it makes sense for what bluff? QTs or KQ exactly? or did he just float flop and turn oop with air? i don't see much. granted, i see the same number of hands that beat us as the possible bluffs, i just think the former is way more likely given the overbet shove and OPs description of him

I agree with 99. I don't think 78s calls 2 streets with just a gutshot.
If he played a hand like this I think we can add KK+ to his range, with J9.
