$10 tpQk turn decision

Pretty new to this table so no reads on villain.. Just can't think of any hand I'm beating here..unless he's making this play w/ some sort of pair + straight draw and wants to take control of the action...thought?

Call the turn, you're getting 3:1 with top pair. You said no reads so how do you know what his min-raise means? You can't tell me you always assume a big hand to a min-raise. Check the river, see what he does.

Also, do we rule out check-raising this flop? I think it might've clarified things.

I'm never checkraising the flop on a board such as this where so many draws could get there when checked behind..

I think this is a call on the turn due strictly to the odds, however this is almost always a c/f to any PSB on the river.

I think you are extremely expoitable if you just fold to a mini-raise on the turn here... that being said I fold here for no other reason that you are readless and I Guarantee he is putting in close to a PSB on the river... which as was said above you have to fold to... keep an eye on this guy... you are going to need a read on him before the next hand you play with him or he can move you off marginal spots all day...

I agree with the call, c/f to a PSB line, but do we c/c a 1/3-1/2 PSB if the river bricks?

You're up against one player that cold-called your raise from UTG. Although you have no reads, against an average player, what hands can you put him on where he's legitimately drawing? There are no flush draws, and the best straight draw is T9. If he has 88 or 77, you're losing chips anyway. Otherwise, there are many hands that you're ahead of that would gladly take a stab at this if you can play the weak part well.

Call turn, he can be doing this with various hands you beat including a free showdown play or as a bluff, which would be a very effective one if you folded AQ- to it. Folding river to a decent sized bet is ok.
Checking flop is okay but I'd just call a bet, don't see much value in a CR. Betting flop is standard.

I think I agree that this is the best play..Definitely should have called the turn getting 5:1..I think in the back of my head I was telling myself that I was going to fold to his river shove so I avoided it all together and ended up playing the hand rather weakly
