Is there any way i am head of his range here, can you justify a call?
 

This was one of the trickiest spots of the session still not to sure what to think of the river, thoughts are extremely appreciated. Did not use pokerace hud this session so no stats and so far when this hand came up no reads.

ugh ugly river, hello JT. i can't fold though, could be a lower 2pr.

Also, I should add; you don't have to be ahead of his range to justify a call, just be right 30% of the time and the call breaks even

Gah, I probably call here because you could argue him having K9/Q9/98 etc, but I think it's really close because he's having JT sooo often. I still think calling is relying a bit on villain might be retarded, so with some kind of read I think I could fold.

I agree, I'm assuming he's not [img]/images/graemlins/smile.gif[/img]

When I played nl200 and below this was the standard line villain's would take with JT. Besides it's likely he's calling preflop with JT (while calling K9 etc is less likely) and it's 16 combos while K9 is only 6.

I think this is JTo a ton and I think the ev of the call is pretty close to 0. But as said I still think it's slightly +.

the question is between raise and call, since you obv can't fold (this doesn't look like a set, and if it is... coooler, and if he was on a str8 draw, he's not getting enough money in good even if you pay him off everytime)

i would benerally shove cause you only have $60 more, so he's going to have to call you w/ any 2 pairs, and basically anything short of a bluff he donk the turn w/

this could well be K9 or Q9.... JT seems weird, but obv. will sometimes happen

i think you have to shove due to stacks (also he may be slow playing AK (or AA) [img]/images/graemlins/tongue.gif[/img] )
