Live - QQ deepstacked, what am I doing on the turn?

Weirdest hand I've played in awhile. At a casino so I'll reenact it best I can. The opponent here was just recently moved to the table, but seems to be pretty LAG.

FR but only mentioning the stack sizes of the two of us that saw the flop:

CO (Villain) $575

SB (ME) $595

Preflop you are dealt: Q [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img] Q [img]/images/graemlins/club.gif[/img]

UTG +1 raises to $10

folds to CO who raises to $25

SB (Me) raises to $85

folds to CO who calls.

Flop ($182) ( is: 5 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img] 2 [img]/images/graemlins/heart.gif[/img] 8 [img]/images/graemlins/diamond.gif[/img]

I bet $150

CO calls.

Turn ($482): 9 [img]/images/graemlins/spade.gif[/img]

I really have absolutely no idea whats going on here. I feel like if I check I lose the hand automatically, but what am I beating here? The only hand I can think of is K/A of diamonds.

Bet all of it.

But why? I don't see what hand is strong enough to just smooth call. K/A of diamonds most likely pushes, I don't think any pocket pair below Queens are still here, maybe jacks but I Doubt it.

I probably cold-call pf.

As played I think checking with the intention of getting in if villain bets is the best play.

Really you just call preflop? I didn't even consider that option. Why would you do that? The CO's raise to 25 is a suck bet for the UTG so it's going to be 3 way and I'll be out of position.

So you're never giving up on the hand here? Thanks for the replies.

4betting this isn't very good if you can't comfortably felt here and I really don't think you can. I would just call pre. This spot sucks now so I guess c/c or c/f depending on live reads.

I see TT, JJ here a lot, also suited aces down to AT. Sure, you'll be up against a higher pair sometimes, a set sometimes, and you'll be dodging diamonds sometimes, but my bet is you're ahead more often than not live.

I didn't see the blinds.

Is this 1/2? 2/4?

Thanks.

Thanks for the replies, and thinks for talking about why to just call here, that didn't even occur as an option to me before.

This was 1/2.

Hey Bluegrass...

Sorta off topic, but where was this? Belterra?

Does AA,KK just call pf??? I wouldnt think so. Im putting villain on a mid pp playing 4 the set. You have about half your stack in, I think you hafta bet the turn. If villain comes over the top, your surely beat...88,99, or any of the over pairs & a FD are all there, though I think the draw is remote.

And you state that the villain seems laggy...more reason to bet IMO.
