2/4 6max nl

25,693 games total
6,191 $2 filter
9,400 $1 filter

0.607 vpp/hand

and if i use the 100,000 fpp $1,500 bonus and i'm supernova than that's 19.8% rake back, since I paid $2,952 in rake over this time

concierge is higher obv.

[/ QUOTE ]

forgive me if I'm missing something obvious, but I think your #'s are off....

25,693*.607=15,595 base points

you're Supernova, 15,595x3.5=54,582 FPPs

54,582/100,000 (for the $1,500 bonus)=.5482 obv

$1,500x0.5482=$822.3

$822.30/2952=0.27855

27.855 CONTRIBUTED!!!! rakeback

what was your MGR over this period?

[/ QUOTE ]

wooops it's 3.5?

i thought it was 2.5

hmmm that's pretty awesome

(rrrrrrrrr, where's MGR? i know i've used it before, but i can't find it atm.... am searching on 2p2, but that may take a while)

you mean the "rake" there divided by the Average Players per Hand?

in that case it's 21,258.75/5.6= $3,795.21

Ok, I have some LHE and LO8 #s. My LO8 #s may be off for some of you, as I'm one of those guys who floats from table to table starting new games, as they fill up. I generally don't play below 30/60 if there are 5+ players at the table in LO8. I put down the APH for those games.

5/10 Limit Holdem 6max: 1.06 12k hands

5/10 Limit O8: 1.02 5k hands (APH 4.4)
10/20 Limit O8: 1.10 5k hands (APH 3.6)
15/30 Limit O8: 1.18 30k hands (APH 3.6)
30/60 Limit O8: 1.37 45k hands (APH 4.9)

you probably just have to expand it? who knows.

you definitely need to use the MGR stat to calc rakeback though

Re: Poker Stars: VPP per hand - post-legislation edition

50NL 6max pokerstars
.235VPP per hand
sample size 24k hands

ok someone help me figure out what im calculating wrong. I don't play at full tilt so i'm not familiar with how rake back works but isn't it MGR * .27 = rakeback ?

if i do this i get $190 * .27 = $51.30 rakeback

over these 24k hands at pokerstars i get 24000*.235 = 5640VPPs at 1.5 cents is $84.60
$84.60 / $190 = 44% rakeback, and this is before i add in VIP extra FPP bonus.... if im silver stars this doubles making it 88% rakeback...platinum is 2.5 FPP per VPP so that would be 110% rakeback..

this can't be right what am i doing wrong??
