if youre going to do that, play the 5400 fpp sats instead. 10 entries for 4 seats. should get at least 1 and maybe more

Oh right, thanks. Would tilt me quite hard if I didn't win any of them though...

How is the competition?

Yo Stars grinders,

What is the best way to spend my FPPs? I have about 15k and was thinking about buying a sunday mill ticket (13500) and swapping it for cash (I know I'll get a bit less than the full value.) Is that a reasonable idea?

Thanks,

m_o

the tickets are not swappable for cash. i've tried.

butif u play the 5400s then u can swap for cash when u win.

5400 fpp sats are the way to go. Competition is pretty bad, play them on saturday nights when everyone's playing them for the next day

I mean just unregistering and taking the T$. Surely you can do that?

Hmm I've heard that... but how many bad/'recreational' players ever actually accumulate that many points? Just curious

No unfortunately you can't :

Note: tickets are non-transferable, non-exchangeable and non-refundable. This ticket must be used by the buyer to play in the designated event. If you register and then unregister from a target tournament, your ticket will be returned; you will not receive Tournament Dollars (T$).

I've only played one 5400fpp sat, it was on a Saturday night and it sure seemed pretty soft, but I'm really what kind of %itm you can expect.

if youre a good SnG player, id expect a 50% win rate

Re: ***uNL Microbrew Thread*** NOV 2007 (ot)

The thing to keep in mind with the 5400s is that they tend to have very high variance. I've won a few in a row and then lost 10 in a row. I consider myself an above average SnG player, especially vs. the typical field in these sats. If you're very risk averse and not confident in your SnG skills, I would maybe look for another option for using your FPPs.
