Perhaps that will be the new way to rate mods; by how many superfluous notifications they get before someone gets banned.

a mod can only be notified about a post once (or twice - or some limited number)

I read the thread with Evan and the PM and everything. It was a classic. Note, because of his hard work we no longer have that problem which annoyed me too.

I can't work out how to notify a moderator about a post in NVG. Where is the button / how do I do it?
