Supreme beat here. I won a small tipping competition the month that the guy stopped paying out. My prize would have been a $40 free bet on the Phillies for the WS at 50-1 or bigger which would have gone towards children inc. (I would of course have matched it with some of my own monies to save me puking if it won, but that's par for the course)

hahaha if you think that this isnt the biggest setup for the Phillies feeling the ultimate heartbreak you dont know much about Philly (and I'm from NY)

I'm going to drive home to philly this weekend just to watch them get swept by the nationals...just as the mets lose 2 out of 3 and still win by 1 game. It's both incredibly exciting and horribly depressing at the same time.

I live Philly - but i'm originally from NY (die-hard Yankee fan).

Sunday is going to be a huge day for Philly/NY. Mets/Phils decide the NL East - while Giants host the Eagles on Sunday Night Football (and i'll be in attendance). GO GIANTS!

*edit - i'm pullin' for the PHils in the NL

Phillies and Mets both win 2 out of 3 this weekend. Phillies win playoff game on Monday, sending those dirty Mutts fans back into the sewers where they belong.
