Find a pic of him holding a beer and put the same caption. That'll be great as a response pic.

Yeah, and not racist or derogatory at all.

Vietnamese don't mess up the L sound because they have an L sound in their language. In fact, i'm pretty sure that's strictly a japanese thing. Sorry to rain on the parade, just a heads up.

Featured Table: Scotty Nguyen Takes a 1.825 Million Pot
Raymond Rahme has the button in seat 7, Scotty Nguyen raises from middle position to 350,000, and Philip Hilm calls from the cutoff. The flop comes {6h}{3d}{2s}, Nguyen bets 420,000, and Hilm calls. There is now 1.825 million in the pot. The turn card is the {Ad}, Nguyen bets 700,000, and Hilm folds. The crowd applauds as Scotty Nguyen takes the pot.

Is Khan slightly donkish in SnG's? He's down 40k according to SharkScope, and this seems wierd considering he mass multitables those things.

I seem to recall somebody posting a link in the Internet forum a while ago about some casinos essentially putting computerized poker in their rooms - online poker, but live. While it would obviously make for less flashy television, that just seems to me like an awesome way to do things for tournaments of this scale. You'd speed up the number of hands, fiascoes like this one wouldn't occur, etc. Obviously there are tons of purists out there who wouldn't want something like this to occur, but it definitely seems like it would make things simpler.

they have these at a casino I went to in the uk, it was way better, there was a 30s time limit and it was out in the casino so loads of random people stopped by and played.

The best man at my wedding lived his whole life in Canada but his parents were from Hong Kong and had fairly heavy accents. To this day he has trouble saying "cold". Don't get me started on my Taiwanese professor who had lived here for over 20 years.

Trust me, it's not exclusively Japanese.

Interesting trivia about Vietnamese though. I'll have to make a point of listening for that.

Thus ends this de-rail, of a de-rail, of a de-rail ...

Go Lee Watkinson! Look for him to take this down. Or finish 2nd, like he does often.
