That's a really ugly flop raise. What was the purpose?

OOP I think I'm going into c/c mode, as there are very few Ax hands that you will get him to fold, and you're ahead of everything else.

Def raise more on the flop, then bet turn harder.
UTG is very short anyway, so he is commited anyway after his turn raise and with 9 nut outs and maybe even the best hand right now, you are too...

Yeah I don't mind getting it in here against such a small stack with possibly the best hand.

Get more money in on the flop and leading the turn
as played it is kind of ugly as I don't think you beat much here except another flush draw
But your flop bet seems like you were just luring him in and you were ready to take this hand all the way, so go ahead and do it I guess

Try bet/3 betting the flop. Check raising strong hands in unraised pots is bad, esp. against a guy who is very unlikely to bet like in this hand. Push turn.
