PLO 100 - Underfull, OOP v tricky opponent

not sure if this is worth posting or not, anyway villan is a 10 seater specialist running 15/3/4.5 and ive played 9000 hands with him - generally what you see is what you get although he can throw to odd curveball. Anyone think i butchered this??

On turn I check call or bet fold. River is check/call then cry.

the turn raise is bad. check call or bet fold

i like a flop 3 bet. turn bet fold.

i understand the reasoning for leading the turn, but hes not laying it down here for $15 with $100 back thats for sure so i decided to try and charge him a higher price (plus he knows i would play A8 like this)

river bet is part value/part blocking bet as i feel i still might be best, and i dont think this my opponent is capable of repotting me here with any hand i beat

I lead out on turn not because it gets villian to fold, but because I dont want to play a large pot OOP on river. If hero leads out for 12 on the turn, the river pot is 39 and then you can check call river bets by villian. I don't think villian will ever call your river bet with a hand you because it is clear you have a full house of some sort. He may take a stab with akqx though.

lucky for me an 8 never came - he limped the button with AAxx, anyone put him on this?? not me for sure. villan asked me if i had 88xx so he knew where i was the whole hand and still managed to let me off with some of my stack

going back to the turn, villan is certainly RR any lead bet here, possibly mini raising (this would fit in with his style). ignoring the fact we now know what he has, do people generally ship it all in here (if i had played it that way i think i possably would)??

i think the general issue with a hand like this is i would rather go after other opponents with my money than tangle with a player like this OOP with this type of hand

well if you're holding all the aces and someone plays back at you on that flop, and raises the turn, what else could they have?

Would you have called if he repopped your turn c/r? (curious to know)

There aren't too many options for his hand to get more money, but to pray you're just bluffing and let you try again on the river... which he did.

I would bet/fold the turn unless I had a special read that he was bluffing or that I had a history of bluffing him that he knew. In which case he is probably playing back light. If you bet twice at someone and they raise both times thats a sign of strength.
