$10k at the 27s in 1 month challenge
 

i have offered a bet taking 1.5:1 that i can make 10k in a 31 days period playing only standard 9 man 27 dollar turbo sit and gos on stars.

the bet will go from this friday, november 23 at 3pm until saturday december 23 at 3pm. The bet will include any sngs started prior to 3pm on dec 23. if at any time prior to 3pm on dec 23 my net passes $10k i will be allowed to sit out the rest of the month and win the bet.

my screenname is mkgringo on stars, and i will be playing by myself the whole time. proof for anyone who logs a bet will be available by aim video chat.

the money will be given to a well known, agreed upon third party escrow prior to 3 pm, november 23.

my progress will be updated every day via the web, including day number, games played, hours played, total profit, etc.

proof of winning the bet will be official email from pokerstars.

i would like to book $4,500 in action on this bet, and have been contacted with regards to about 2,500 in interest.

as far as i can tell from sharkscope, nooone has ever even come close to this before. not even a little bit close.

please let me know asap if you are going to take action on this.

GL RH,

RH do you use any poker software to get reads on players since when you're 12 tabling you obviously cant focus on each individual player? That is unless you are Bobby Fischer or Stu Ungar.

You don't need too many reads in the 16s to have a 10% roi or so... some people 30 table for > 13%. Basic ICM and knowing who the regs are is sufficient. That said, I think 10k in the 16s is very doable, though I really think you should be playing more than 12 tables if you are comfortable doing so. I think you'll do it if you're motivated, so good luck!

absolutely noone is beating the 27s for 13% while playing 12 or more tables for a significant sample. no one. its not even a little bit close.

Sorry, misread thread. I'm retarded, thought this was 16s. Say 8% for 60 hrs/wk should do it 20 tabling.
