50/100 double gutter
villain is noataima, he's pretty donkish and I've never seen him make this tiny reraise before....I think he views me as a good LAG, but again he's donkish and even with the scary board he could become attached to a good overpair....what's your preferred line here?

Re: 50/100 double gutter
check/call?

Re: 50/100 double gutter
I'd c/c.

Re: 50/100 double gutter
i'm gonna be the first and hopefully not the last to say this but i think it is very strong and perhaps better to lead here than check call. maybe even check raise but i'm not too sure of that because it will likely commit us.
if you c-c i hope you fire a lot of turns or rivers to give yourself a chance to bluff at this pot because you will let him check down an unimproved ace, king, or queen high if the next streets blank |
Re: 50/100 double gutter
edit: reread, nm.
i agree w/ the ck/call. |
Re: 50/100 double gutter
I'd lead.

Re: 50/100 double gutter
so i think weve established that the tags like cc and the insane types like leading? nice
is noataima high enough a level thinker to put people on hands? do you have to worry about balancing your play versus him? if so i like leading more because i highly doubt u are checkcalling with a set/twopair here but correct me if im wrong. |
Re: 50/100 double gutter
with these stacks i'd check call.

Re: 50/100 double gutter
Is this a standard call pre, out of position? What if it's a good player - say, it's you? What if it's potted to 1200?
