You see someone's card reflected through their glasses.

If yes, what about if you notice that an artery pulsates in someones temple when they have a good hand.

In both cases you say nothing and use the information to your advantage.

How are you seeing the cards reflected through their glasses unless they have them held up near their eyes? Are we playing movie-style 5 card draw?

If they're self-enfatuated enough that they wear super-reflective sunglasses, AND they put their hand in a position that it can reflect clearly off of said glasses, you're not cheating by seeing it and using it.

i agree. everybody is responsible for his cards. if someone can't manage to keep his cards safe, it's his own fault. letting other people see ones cards is like playing poorly imo.

A very gray area. I hear people always say that poker is a Gentleman's game. What is the difference between seeing one of his cards if the dealer mistakenly flashes it when dealing it? Or what if someone mucks their cards and mistakenly flashes one of them and you're the only one still in the hand who saw it?

So if playing online and someone is stupid enough to install a trojan horse program from an Email I send them that installs a program that allows me to see their cards, is that not cheating?

If you can see someone's cards, then I don't see anyway how that can not be considered cheating.

Poker Tells on the other hand are part of the game.

to the rest of the post: i tend to agree. if you see cards due to dealers mistakes it might be considered cheating. very difficult in this case imo.

This is what i first thought. It´s just a bad play. Kind of like calling a pf raise with J3. But then I thought, "what if a good friend of mine was doing it in my home game?" I would definitely tell him asap about the reflection. However, I think I would only tell him about the J3 if he asked me. I might be an unusual case though because no one has ever lost more than thirty dollars in one of my home games. playing j3 on a regular basis is part of the fun. if the stakes were high enough to really hurt him, i wouldn´t play against my friend who played j3.

I don't know (rules probably vary), but I do know that NEITHER SHOULD be cheating.
