Therapist The Rapist

I've always been interested in divisible words. Preferably witticisims like therapist/the rapist and not boring splits like across/a cross. The creme de la creme:

Novice - No Vice
Justice - Just Ice
Manslaughter - Mans Laughter
Notable - Not Able

Anyone else delight in these? I wonder if there is a figure of speech for these type of words.

One of my favorite tshirthell.com shirts is "You can't spell MANSLAUGHTER without LAUGHTER!"

Seems like a dead end, but I love anything about loving language. Like, to steal from John MacDonald and maybe misspell his last name, I love that "discover" means "to take the cover off of." As if to say, what comes to be known may be known all along, just never quite focused on correctly and understood.

Buster: [Gasp]

Tobias: Oh, it's pronounced "Analrapist."

Buster: It wasn't the pronunciation that bothered me.
