I recommend a Public Speaking course... It's usually required and not a barrel of fun, but it's good to take early because it will help with future classes that you might have to do presentations and such.

My most fun class was History of Rock and Roll.

Intro to Psych was hard as [censored] at my school.

Sociology classes, on the other hand, were so easy. Even better is that they are all the same, so if you do well in one then you just take a bunch more, its all the same crap.

Take a specific philo class without prereqs. For example, I took one on the ethics of death penalty, abortion, pornography, etc. and it was pretty ballin'.

Yeah I took a philosophy of moral issue class. It was sick, teacher was amazing too.

I liked my school's 100-level religion classes. There were religions I always heard about but didn't really know what their believers believed. I was pretty happy to learn more.

If you can think abstractly then philosophy is fun and easy. If you can't then you are probably [censored] if you take it.

Also, I took 4 philosophy classes this semester. Bad idea.

The history of jazz was one of the most popular at my undergrad school. If you are looking for practical ideas, try a writing class that's not creative writing.

Haven't seen media studies mentioned yet. If your school has a low level course its probably easy and fun. Ask your classmates/TAs/upper year students for advice.

Creative writing is awesome, screw practicality. I took a science fiction/fantasy class my final semester, best class I took, just a bunch of people writing bad short stories and everyone else cracking jokes about it. As long as you get a professor who's cool and doesn't treat it like everyone should be gunning for a Pulitzer, it should be a lot of fun.
