97% I have never sold action before in anything =)

Thanks for the support all. I responded with a brief summary in the other thread, ran bad and nothing too interesting. live tournaments are exciting, although the WPT kind of sucks.

did wpt fix their ridiculous ft blind structures yet?

[/ QUOTE ]

Although the WPT does prefer to have an accelerated blind schedule during the Final Table (for filming/editing purposes), it is up to the individual properties' Tournament Director to set the schedule. Fallsview's TD, Jason March, made some EXCELLENT decisions for the 2007 NAPC:

1. Play was 9-handed throught the tournament, including the last table (rather than 10-handed which is the standard).

2. During hand-for-hand play, the clock was paused as soon as the first table completed their hand. This allowed the other tables to play out their hands without "penalizing" the first table (that was just sitting there doing nothing!).

3. The exact structure used during the NAPC (Day 1s, 2, 3 and 4) was used for the Final Table (90 minute levels with no acceleration through the schedule). The only change made was to go to 45 minute levels once heads-up (but that did not factor in as only 14 hands were played HU).

There are still many improvments to be made for the future, but those 3 decisions were paramount to the success of the NAPC this year.
