200NL: QQ getting 3bet and cc\'d preflop by tags
 

Villain in CO is 22/20/1.8 after 250 hands.
Button is 19/15/7.8 after 300 hands.

My thinking with the Flop donk was that I could likely take it down with the best hand: otherwise I'm beat and I'm done with the hand. Thoughts?

Shove the turn, they just called on a drawy flop so you should be good here.

I would be tempted to bet more on flop even if I was 3 Bet PF, could as easily be AK to JJ.

If villain c-bets consistently I would prob check raise flop MOTN, if unsure I'd throw in a near pot sized donk bet. On turn I am leading the betting again, with an overpair to QQ he is surely raising your flop bet on a fairly decent drawing board, esp as your bet seemed a bit like a block bet for a flushing.

I wouldn't be unhappy to get my money in on the turn, but knowing my play, villain has 10 10.

in 3 bet HU pot, I wouldn't really consider that board by all that drawy, I would probably just call with As/Ks or set here, but I am folding turn though.. crai

Not at all. I specifically said I was betting QQ on the Flop, because if it was good it would likely take it down. How do you interpret this as "turning it into a bluff"?

Meaning that, since you decided to shut down if called, you could have made that same bet with ATC. And some may think (me, too) that your hand has more value than that.

I think the problem here is that Villain could call with a bunch of stuff on the flop that you beat, and there's not a good reason to shut down on the turn. Also, there are draws out there. Thus, a shove is fine here, both for value and protection.

don't like the flop donk. why would you want give worse hands a chance to fold when they are likely to cbet?
